About Me
My name is Megan Coe and I am so excited to be joining the Gold Beach Jr/Sr High School family! I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University , and my Masters of Science degree in Professional School Counseling from Minnesota State University - Mankato. The first half of my career was spent in college admissions, and the second half in high school counseling, so I have a great deal of experience with post-secondary planning.  I work within the research-based framework of the ASCA model to provide academic, college and career, and social-emotional support to my students.  I utilize a strengths-based approach to school counseling, with the belief that each student has the ability and potential to maximize their educational experience and meet their goals for life after high school.  Together, we will discover your strengths and interests, identify your areas for growth, tackle any obstacles in your path, and develop a plan that is right for you!

Prior to moving to Oregon, I had lived my entire life in the Midwest, so in my free time, you can find me exploring my beautiful new surroundings with my two dogs.  I also enjoy reading, cooking and baking, video gaming, and supporting a variety of Midwestern sports teams.
