The district received two grants from the state to do a study of our existing school facilities.

Part one was completed in December 2017 with a report to the Board of Directors. This study gave the district information of approximate costs to remodel versus replace current buildings.

Part two is the process of evaluating community growth and other studies about the existing buildings. Part two included interviews with staff and administration, but most importantly with the public. Public meetings occurred on Monday, March 4, 2019, when representatives from Cooperative Strategies of Colorado Springs, Colorado, shared the results of their study and asked questions of the public about their thoughts regarding school facilities.

Part three is the final report from Cooperative Strategies during the school board meeting on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gold Beach High School library. The public is invited to attend.
